Rules for every card

  1. The source is named in plain text on the card and in its ⋯ sheet, with the source's publication time and, in the sheet, the card's published and updated dates.
  2. Every card links to the original. A card without a credit line or link cannot be published.
  3. No agency logos, seals or insignia are used.
  4. No "official", "approved by" or "in partnership with" wording about any source.
  5. No images from sources are shown.
  6. Weather cards say they are not official warnings and point to weather.gov; they leave the feed when the alert ends.
  7. No other outside source is used. Third-party material (news-agency copy, partner articles, company announcements, images) is excluded rather than credited.
